Yosemite Safari January 18-22, 2010
We will hold the winter Yosemite Safari again on January 18-22, 2010. We will stay at the Yosemite Lodge again. Plan to check in on Monday, January 18, and check out on Friday, January 22.
To make your reservation at Yosemite Lodge call 1-801-559-5000. Double rooms are available for $110.89/night with either a king-size bed or two double beds. We will not be identified as a group, but ask for a room in either Cedar or Manzanita in order to keep us reasonably close together. Make your reservation early to be sure of a room. When you make it please let me know (Tel: 933-5994, Email: cassidy9704@sbcglobal.net). You are on your own to make a room reservation, but I will make reservations on the train again.
The train will leave Martinez at 8:19 AM on Monday the 18th. We will transfer to a bus at Merced and arrive at Yosemite Lodge at 1:25 PM. For the return we will board the bus at Yosemite Lodge at 10:00 AM on Friday January 22, transfer to the train at Merced, and arrive back in Martinez at 3:16 PM. The round trip fare will be $51.00 per senior person. If you will be joining us on the train, please send me a check for $51.00 (made out to John Cassidy) after you have made your reservation at Yosemite Lodge .
