Destinations may change based on weather or other information. All hike destinations are weather-dependent, but your leader will be ready to take you somewhere if the scheduled hike is rained out or too muddy.
All Ambler hikes are 3 or 4 miles on rolling hills -- no steep climbs, but nothing truly flat.
Saturday May 19: Amblers, Barbara Wackett, will walk along San Pablo Reservoir's edge, Ramblers; Johanne Emrich will lead a wander of the Rossmoor hills: Trekkers, Wayne Emrich, will hike the Rossmoor Hills, Scramblers, Ta-shia Kuo, will hike from Rossmoor to Bollinger Canyon
Wednesday May 23: Amblers, Frank Giuliano, will lead a Tilden Park Hike; Ramblers; Alice LaDove will lead through the Mt Diablo foothills: Trekkers, Carolyn Yandle will hike Huckleberry in Shelby Park; Scramblers, Larry Prudhomme, TBD
Saturday May 26: Amblers, Merylin Lovett, will take us into the rolling hills of Shell Ridge; Ramblers; Carl Irving, will hike to Rocky Ridge in Las Trampas for a 360 degree view of San Francisco, the Bay, the Peninsula, and the only entire profile of Mt. Diablo visible anywhere--from its roots in the Danville valley to its summit: Trekkers, Dick Pierce, will hike on Mt. Diablo from Juniper Camp to the top, on to Prospectus gap, Deer Flat, and back to Juniper; Scrambler, Burt Rodgers hike TBA
Wednesday May 30: Amblers, hike to be announced; Ramblers; Marty Nelson looks for views on San Pablo Ridge: Trekkers, Harriet Schwartz, will hike Wildcat Canyon from Alverez Trailhead; Scramblers, Looking for volunteer
